Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Brain Recon ("we", "us", "our") is an AI advisory and implementation firm based in South Florida. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit brainrecon.com, request an audit, or engage us for an implementation or retainer.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details you submit via forms (name, email, company, company size).
• Messages and business context you share in forms, discovery calls, or the AI opportunity scanner.
• Website measurement data, only if you accept analytics: page path, page type, page title, and de-identified interaction events (CTA clicks, form starts, form success/error class, scanner start/result/error). These events carry only fixed labels and bucketed values — never your name, email, phone number, company name, message text, scanner prompts, AI-generated text, or database identifiers.
• Marketing attribution: only the values of utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term when present in a link you follow. We store your first-touch and last-touch values separately in your browser. We do not store the full URL or any other query parameters, and we do not currently use ad-click identifiers.
• Operational data from tools we deploy on your behalf, only as needed to run the engagement.

3. Analytics and your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 for website measurement, and only when a Measurement ID has been configured for this site. Analytics is off by default. Nothing is loaded or sent to Google until you choose “Accept analytics” in our banner. Choosing “Reject analytics” keeps it off. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under an analytics-only key, separate from essential storage such as sign-in state and interface preferences, which is not covered by this choice.

You can change or withdraw your decision at any time via the Analytics preferences link in the site footer. Withdrawal stops further collection immediately; it does not by itself delete data already collected — email us to request deletion. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization on and Google signals and ad personalization signals off.

This section describes what our site actually does. It is not legal advice, and it is not a claim of compliance with any specific privacy law. Whether a particular consent model, banner design, retention period, or cross-border transfer mechanism is required for your jurisdiction is an owner and legal-counsel decision that has not been made yet.

4. How we use it

We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, send transactional emails (confirmations, follow-ups), understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us, and improve our website. When a form submission is successfully saved, we also record a server-side conversion entry containing the submission reference and the allowlisted attribution values above — no name, email, phone number, or message content. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

5. Confidentiality

Anything you share during an audit or engagement is treated as confidential. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before deeper discovery on request.

6. Subprocessors

We use third-party services to run this site and our business: application hosting and database/storage, transactional email delivery, an AI model provider used by the opportunity scanner and lead review, and — only after you accept analytics — Google Analytics 4. A definitive, published subprocessor list with entity names and data-location details is a pending owner decision and is available on request in the meantime.

7. Retention and deletion

Form submissions and conversion records are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about an engagement, and are deleted on request. Analytics data retention is governed by the retention setting in the Google Analytics property; that setting has not been fixed yet and is a pending owner decision. We have not adopted a specific retention period beyond that, and we do not state one here rather than invent it.

8. Your choices

You can accept, reject, or withdraw analytics consent at any time from the footer. You can unsubscribe from marketing email via the link in any message or by emailing Brainreconai@gmail.com. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the same address.
